The closest meaning of Loukyam in English is common-sense, and the movie lacks just that.This reviewer is completely biased towards big heroes. They are, however, shot in the most routine manner possible - three in Switzerland and two on sets - and take the induced boredom to higher levels.Loukyam is a repackaged version of several of Gopichand's films - to use a cliché, it is old wine in a new bottle, the problem being that the bottle is broken at several places. The entire film is filled with clichés so archaic that you would require carbon dating to find out their exact age.The songs by Anup Rubens are a welcome change from the Thaman variety of music that we've been subjected to in the last couple of years. The rest of the movie is about how Gopichand cons everyone until the end and then beats up some and convinces some others and ends up with a happily ever after.The movie and all its characters are so routine and monotonous that the biggest applause is reserved for 30-Years Prithvi and his spoof of Legend. If you wish to see more such illogical sequences threaded together in a movie with the same story as Gopichand's first and several subsequent movies, you can go see this film.Loukyam has Gopichand as a happy-go-lucky and fearless guy who falls in love with a girl who's the sister of a don.
Anyone who listen's to Anup's music in this will agree that its lot more pleasant to ears than GAV.2. He gives music 5 rating for both this movie and GAV. Here are some of my observations which I thought reviewer conveniently overlook.1.
Totally puzzled by reviewer's thought process while dissecting scenes from super star movies and from small hero movies. There are many more gaps and inconsistencies in reviews that can be projected here if we go scene by scene analysis. In GAV reviews, ppl who played miniscule roles also got a mention and with their performances analyzed whereas ppl like Brahmanandam, don's elder sister, etc who played such lengthy and significant roles didn't even get mention in this review.Hence the proof that these reviews are biased towards star heroes and big budget flicks. Can anyone tell me what happens to important characters like Kota srinivas rao or Rao Ramesh or Akash, etc who are part of the so called family in GAV, at the end of the story?6. At least all characters are brought to logical conclusion in climax of this movie. While this is true, there is lot more to the story with some critical links not being mentioned here like don'n elder sister, etc5.
